The Ship Safe Training Group (SSTG) provide world-class training programmes, leading to first class qualifications, to progress your career in the Merchant Navy while onboard hi-tech, modern ships operating world-wide. With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, the SSTG recruit on behalf of 30 maritime companies operating i n excess of 300 vessels across the oceans of the world.

Gender is no boundary to work aboard ship with both males and females comprising crews. Ship’s crews are in fact invariably as multi-cultural as they are multi-national, spanning the world’s countries from Australia to Argentina; Zaire to Zanzibar.
The main entry route is the Foundation Degree-based programme. Opportunities for the HND entry route are also available for persons with good GCSE grades in English, maths, physics/combined science and at least one other subject.
As well as the Foundation Degree, you will gain professional seafaring ‘Certificates of Competency’ that allow you to work on board any ship, anywhere in the world. The Degree also provides opportunities for further professional development with progression into the third year of an honours degree.
Your tuition and other FEES WILL BE PAID BY YOUR SPONSOR and you’ll have the opportunity to travel the world while undertaking your necessary professional training - at the end of which you are free to leave with NO DEBT!
